hello from Italy

So,I've been hanging here with our friend Nathan for the last few days, and it's been oh so much fun! We went swimming in the Adriatic sea today, and after a brief siesta, came over to check the ol' email. He is doing well, and managing to stay out of the drama and discontent that is consuming other members of their group. But he's so patient and optimistic, he's making the best of it!

New Photo, check it out

Nathan (and Gwen) are gracing the current issue of the Alberta walking map. See the new image in the photo gallery. As far as photos from Italy go, Eros forgot his laptop and camera cord in LA, so until that gets sent out to him, all the photos he took are locked on the camera. One of these days we'll see them...

June 13--end of week one

Well, Nathan and company have been working thier fingers to the bone down in Oakland to get ready for Italy. Though there have been some minor setbacks (the new stilts still aren't done, and were supposed to be ready long ago). They have postponed their drive to LA by 24 hours to buy some time. Once in LA, it's practice, practice, practice.

So how am I holding up without our fabulous Nathan? Overall just fine, though Mars our cat has not adjusted as well, and continues to want food at 7:00 AM (when Nathan used to feed him every morning). The cat has taken to tormenting me for hours in the early morning. Talk about waking up on the wrong side of the bed...
